Bella's has a lovely pristine look! It is exceptionally clean and color coordinated! The tones used are mostly mauve and pink with wreaths made of dried flowers on the upper walls. The restaurant has a cathedral ceiling that has chandeliers and paddle fans hanging attractively from it. The tables are covered in pink tiles and the windows are covered with pinks shades. Dining here is a pleasant experience. We would like to return for a dinner meal and sample more of the Italian specialties. Partial menu:
RESTAURANT: BELLA'S 933 Hingham Street, Rockland DATE: August 28, 2000 MEAL: Lunch BREAD: Crusty Rolls SALAD: APPETIZER: ENTREE: Chicken Salad Plate ($7.95) Excellent - Wendy is
always a little apprehensive about ordering Chicken Salad
because it is sometimes served with too much mayonnaise.
This time it was devoid of heavy oils of any kind and had a
mild, but pleasing taste. The other salad ingredients were
crisp and fresh. Even the tomatoes seemed vine
ripened. Chicken Parmigiana ($7.95) Excellent - a good sized
portion with a nice flavor. The plate needed a garnish of
some sort to make it look a little more elegant. DESSERT: OTHER: Plenty of free parking Quick service Clean and neat Take out available OVERALL: A- Although there was nothing wrong with the meals,
there was nothing special to make it a full "A"
