Want to have some fun? Try Fire and Ice and we are sure you will be amused. Not only is the food appetizing, but the restaurant has a delightful "funky" feel to it. Located downstairs with pipes and metalwork visible, it has bright colors on the walls and colored light bulbs strategically placed to illuminate the dining areas. In the middle of the main dining room is an enormous grill surrounded by several chefs preparing numerous meals at a time. The diners are held a safe distance from the grill by a waist high partition. To begin the preparation of a meal, the diner:

There were 3 salads available at the Salad Bar. One was a Caesar and one of the others was an Oregano Vinaigrette. There were loads of toppings at the other stations to enhance the cold, crispy salads.

Some of the offerings that we remember - pork, beef, chicken, crayfish, calamari, tilapia, mussels, rock shrimp, tofu, eggplant, string beans, bok choy, sweet potatoes, mushrooms, udon noodles, bow tie pasta, leeks, potatoes, scallions, carrots, sprouts, cucumbers, 3 types of sausage, salmon, mahi mahi, roasted garlic...

Sauces offered were: BBQ, fruit, puttanesca, fire fajita, teriyaki, smoked pepper, creamy alfredo, chipolte honey, lemon picata, red Thai curry, and soy sauce vinaigrette.

DESSERT:

We did not choose any but they had: Mile High Cheesecake, Carrot Cake, Key Lime Pie, Turtle Cheesecake, Banana Brownie Sundae.

OTHER:

Tables are close together

Noise level is high

Lighting is subdued

Parking is difficult although there is a lot across the street

Dress is casual

At lunch there is a "one trip to the grill" for $7.50 and the same thing with a salad added for $9.25 or the regular frequent trips to the grill for $9.95

Items were replenished frequently

Serving area was neat and clean

Meats were of a good quality
