Fire Bull is fun! The food might not be the best that we have ever tasted, but the place has some charm and warmth and the food is pretty good. There is an all-you-can-eat Brazilian Barbecue. on the menu. Meat is delivered to tables on long skewers and offered to the diners. If you would like a slice or a piece, you just ask the waiter. He continues to cycle by your table as long as you place your circular card has the green side up. As soon as you have had enough meat the card is turned over to the red side. We have been to several of these "rodizios" before and always have the same concern, the meat gets overcooked on the skewers. Meats that are thick tend to have a moister piece in the center as the meat is carved. There are other menu items available too, and some of our large party had the rodizio and some ordered entrees from the menu.
We enjoyed this particular rodizio because the ambiance is pleasant. Everyone tried hard to please and the owner was there to supervise. Since the three dining areas are separated by dividers, each section has an intimate feel to it. Brazilian pictures adorn the walls to complement the warm tones of the room.

RESTAURANT: FIRE BULL 5 Central Street, Peabody,
MA DATE: March 2006 MEAL: Dinner DECOR: BREAD: Rolls - Very
fresh SALAD: Romaine lettuce, iceberg
lettuce, red cabbage, carrots tomatoes and olives. The Blue
Cheese Dressing was innocuous. APPETIZER: ENTREE: All barbecues are served with
white rice (nicely done), vinaigrette, a Brazilian bean dish
(very good) and usually plantains, but the night we were
there Kasaba Root was substituted. Barbecue ($21.95): Spare Ribs,
Chicken Wings, Sirloin Tips with Garlic, Pork Sausage, Top
Sirloin, Chicken Breast, Lamb, Roast Beef, Pork Loin. We
found the meats ranged from dry (roast beef, sausage) to
very tasty. People appeared to favor the Top Sirloin and the
Pork but other selections were also done nicely. The rub
used on the meats is an interesting blend of spices and does
very well to add flavor to the selections. MOQUECA DE PEIXE ( $15.95)
Excellent - Seafood stew simmered with extra virgin olive
oil, tomato, onions and cilantro capixaba style with shrimp
served steaming hot in a terracotta pot. DESSERT: Pudim (Flan)$3.00 -
Yummy! OTHER: Easy street parking or in a
nearby lot Dress is casual Service is
excellent Brazilian music in the
background. On some nights there is live
music. OVERALL: This is a hard one to rate. The
food is probably a B+ but the whole experience brings an
overall rating up to an A-. We would definitely
return.
