We found this location because one of our favorites is right next door. The Hideaway was closed for lunch due to the holiday so we decided to try the Hong Kong. It appears that this restaurant is mostly for take-out, but it does have 2 tables that seate 6 people each. The lunch menu is typical Chinese, but the price is very reasonable. The restaurant has a giant photo of China on the wall and pictures of each entree. There are levelors on the front windows and a paddle fan above. The luncheon plates come with a choice of an Egg Roll, Won Ton Soup or a Soda. Each plate also includes plenty of boiled white rice. The food had its strengths and weaknesses, but overall, the lunch was a good value for the money.

($4.65) Pretty Good. The Egg Roll had distinct flavors and a
nice light wrapper. The Won Ton Soup had overstuffed won
tons, which had a nice flavor. The main dish, however, was
somewhat lacking in flavor. Seafood Delight ($10.50) Pretty Good. [Selected
from the dinner menu.] Although there were large pieces
of lobster and plenty of shrimp, the dish did not have much
taste. DESSERT: Fortune cookies OTHER: Informal Parking in a lot right outside the door Quick service Large portions Mostly take-out Clean OVERALL: C+
