WENDY AND TOM DINE OUT

Moving from Hopkinton was only a minor plus for this restaurant. It continues to be mediocre. There is lots of food, but not great food. The new establishment is housed in an old bar. There are televisions overhead and a second floor bar and more seating. The decor is moderately attractive if you like the look of pipes overhead with a little dust thrown in. The tables have cranberry tablecloths and are reasonably spaced apart. There is a buffet that offers several fairly nice soups, salad items and some other vegetables and ethnic dishes. It is not outstanding in any way. The main attraction here is the Churrasco a Rodizio for $17.95. For this price diners get waiters continually stopping at the table with skewers of meat. The offerings include: beef, chicken wings, chicken hearts, beef, sausage, lamb and turkey. The diner chooses which (or all them) of the meats to sample. All of the meats are well prepared and if you do not get the outside slice, are well seasoned. The outside slices are too salty for our tastes. The roast beef is served rare or medium is quite nice. Also offered with the churrasco are beans and rice, which are brought to the table. For people who have never been to a Brazilian Churrasco a Rodizio, this restaurant might be fun to try just for the experience. Definitely stick with the meats.

One person in our group ordered Haddock. A large portion was served but it was undercooked. It went back to the kitchen and came back overcooked. The vegetables that accompanied it were steamed and lacked flavor. The house salad, on the other hand, was quite nice.
