Approaching the "Roadhouse Grill" from the ample parking lot you have to cross the wide moat on a plank bridge as though you were entering a Tiki experience. Water lilies complete the scene... Surprise! Surprise! Upon entering, you find yourself in a West Texas roadhouse complete with saloon doors to the restrooms. A large fight scene mural dominates one wall of this western themed restaurant and there are attractive art deco neon beer signs scattered here and there on the walls for accents. The tables tend to be topped with urethane finished planks or formica topped tables for the booths. A bucket of peanuts is provided for each table so that the diners can carpet the floor with the shells while waiting for dinner. Rolls of paper towels grace each table so that the messier diner can regain his or her grip before continuing with the rib platter. There is a game room for the video addicted younger cowboy so he can exercise his vice before proceeding to the fantastic dinner to follow... We went as a party of four and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Quart mason jars for the soft drinks complete the ruff & ready motif. For the ruffer and readier, there is a selection of beers and wines.

diner had the baked sweet potato. and the other rib eater
had the baked stuffed potato with sour cream. An order of
crisp fresh steamed broccoli was added in case there might
be guilt feelings later about eating all those rich ribs.
There weren't and the broccoli was eaten with righteousness.
