Shogun Japanese Restaurant is a small place that Thomas describes as, "minimalist Japanese". There is a definite Japanese flavor to the simple decor with white paper lanterns hanging above each table. Seating is limited to about 10 tables and a sushi bar. Dinner plates have an oriental design and other plates complement them although some are made of plastic. It seems like the people who manage the establishment have a repeat clientele since they greet many diners by name as they come through the door.
